Starting at about the size of some people’s master bedrooms, these tiny green homes are brought to you by Texas ex-scavenger, now home-builder, Brad Kittel. Drawing from old 50’s thinking where houses were torn down and rebuilt with the same parts, Kittel has kept to those traditions by building homes of great character, style and with 95% recycled materials.
Starting at about $27,000 for a 10 x 16 ft home, these homes are usually purchased for vacation cabins, art studios, pool houses, kids’ cabanas and guest houses. Some couples purchase the house to stay in while their own houses are being made. Hopefully, it shows that these tiny homes are capable of sustaining a living situation being that they also come with modern sinks, full baths and modern showers.
The bottom line is that these tiny houses incur tiny bills and require a tiny amount of maintenance.
