Geothermal

Earth Heat is usually described as two different types of alternative energy sources:

1) True geothermal energy is not used as much as it draws energy from the earth’s core, which is approximately 4000 miles below the surface through steam and hot water. This type of energy usually helps to power buildings or generate electricity.

2) Common Geothermal energy are used for heating and cooling systems and usually rely mainly on the constant temperature of the ground to transfer heat. These heating and cooling systems usually rely on the heat transfer liquid to move heat from a few feet below the surface to inside the house during the cold winter days.
