Even Pork Goes Green with the $700 Billion Bailout

Even Pork can Go Green

Even Pork can Go Green

If you’re like me, you have been looking for something positive in these bad economic times.  With the downturn in the market and the overall feeling of uncertainty, someone has taken the time to read through hundreds of pages to see that there is a small tax-benefit in the recently signed bailout plan.  This is a “transportation fringe benefit to bicycle commuters” to help with the cost of the purchase and maintenance of a bike used to and from work.  The tax benefit may not be a significant amount but with all the other pork that was laden in this bill, I am happy to find anything encouraging.
