The Chevy Concept that Teased Us A Year Ago

Chevy finally unveiled the entry into the red-hot green automobile market with the Chevy Volt. Originally designed as a coupe with a slick, aerodynamic roof-line and oversized wheels, the production version has taken notice of the success of the Toyota Prius amongst US families and have targeted accordingly.

Chevrolet claims a 40 mile range off a 8 hour charge (or 3 Hour charge depending on your input voltage) which puts out an estimated 150 horsepower. All this in a nice four-dour sedan:
